After 30 years of competitive dancing, Andrew Sinkinson decided to choose the Invitational Team Match of Blackpool Dance Festival to announce his retirement from his competitive career. Upon the announcement Andrew received a standing ovation from the audience lasting for more than 5 minutes. In gratitude to the audience's appreciation and support, Andrew performed his last foxtrot as a competitor in Blackpool's Winter Garden.
